Persephone's Song is a large-scale music theatre work written as a ballet for a 15 piece chamber ensemble. It is based on the myth of the Greek Goddess Persephone. Persephone's Song is scored for single Woodwinds (with Soprano Saxophone), French Horn, Harp, 3 Percussionists and String Quintet. The string section could also be expanded to 6, 4, 2, 2, 1.
