I visited Sankien Garden in Yokohama today. It's a traditional Japanese Garden with pagodas and bridges about a 20 minute walk from my place. My motivation was a friend telling me about macro photography yesterday so off I went to dabble. You can see some of my first attempts on my flickr site... click on one of the photos to get there. The Japanese LOVE their dogs, buying all kinds of clothes for them. Sometimes in Motomachi, a trendy street near my house, you'll see dogs wearing shoes to protect their precious indoor feet! On Halloween there was a doggie fashion parade. Enough of this! I'm really enjoying learning how to use my camera. There's a lot of weird and wonderful things to see in this world.
