It's official! I now have 2 weeks of doing whatever I want to do whenever and with whomever I want to, aka holidays. If I wasn't so tired right now I'd be out dancing in the streets and celebrating the Cats win over Collingwood. I've not ever really been into AFL football but working with kids keeps me informed and even interested. I grew up in Geelong. I hope they win, they deserve it. My holiday plans you ask? Finish painting my house, take a photography course, lots of reading so I can be a better teacher, exercise every day and catch up with friends. I'm taking myself out to breakfast now, because I can.

It's totally autumn now in Tokyo.
The leaves are starting to change colour, and the air is getting so much cooler. A real welcome after the hottest summer in 30 years!
I went back to Hong Kong with the family last week using a long weekend (national holidays) to catch up with friends and go back to places.
It is really something to go back to the place where you had a life at one point, especially if it was a really good one.
I hope that someday, you will be back here and have the same kind of feeling, too!
