Estelle Pizer

Well I don't need to worry about being famous anymore. Apparently I was featured on Japanese TV yesterday trying to speak Japanese for at least 30 seconds. It was a 'spontaneous' human interest story about making chabako boxes - a beautiful and fun Japanese craft that my sister-in-law Masumi teaches. Hopefully it will bring her lots more clients, Japanese and gaijin (foreigners). If you are interested in buying one or even better, making one... go to the website http://www.chabako.jp/menu/. Not much more to do to cross off 'the list' before I leave now. Hope to see my beloved Fuji-San again, dogs in dresses and girls in cartoon costumes. Ah, there are many things I shall miss about this country and I am so excited to be coming home.
